My Story
Setting off Saturday August 31st ’24 from Colosseum Rome myself along with a group of family and friends are cycling home - Stockton -on-Tees UK. The journey is approximately 1,240 miles over 23 days covering 5 countries and reaching heights of 8,000ft (Swiss Alps). The group consists of 30 guys with ages ranging from 19-64 with varying levels of fitness. Most of the group are partaking in sections of the ride – myself along with 5 other cyclists are completing the full 23 days. On a very personal level 2 of the younger members of the group were diagnosed with Cancer and have both fought and won their fights with the brilliant support of UK medical teams. I would also like to mention a sincere thank you from us all involved to both Last Mile Logistics and Enterprise Car Hire (Stockton-on-Tees) for their kind support without which this ride/journey would not have been undertaken and a special thank you to Maison Thompson our support driver.
